Azuma 800 202 reversal at Corby Gates
On Thurday 27th and Friday 28th August 2020 LNER "Azuma" 800 202 worked a series of unusual journeys, namely:
5Q59 Merchant Park Sidings to Beattock
5Q60 Beattock to Corby Gates S.B
5Q61 Corby Gates S.B. to Beattock
5Q62 Beattock to Merchant Park Sidings
We took the opportunity to film 800 202 at a few locations to the east of Carlisle, including using the crossover at Corby Gates.

An excellent video clip of the 'Duchess' passing. I was here myself but at the opposite end of this platform.
Not a problem. Perhaps we are too narrowly focussed on railway enthusiasts with similar tastes to our own and are forgetting the wider public.
We welcome comments on our videos, but we do not understand what information you are looking for. We have uploaded a video of a steam hauled train which will be mentioned on the appropriate forums so that people interested in this aspect of railways can watch it if they wish to do so. There is no mission to challenge or educate, just a desire to share our video footage with others of a like mind.

I always come down after we see the steam specials and always see the class 37s there and have always wondered if they haul passenger trains and if they work.
Passenger trains run every Sunday until 23rd September 2012, with additional running days during the school holidays. Usual motive power is the "Thumper" DEMU 205009, although on occasions two MLVs on battery power are used to haul/propel one of the 4-CEPs.
When are they running passenger services and what with?
